Imaging sparse reflectivities from noisy data
Speaker: Alexei Novikov, Penn State
Abstract: I will discuss the problem of imaging sparse scenes from a few noisy data using an l1-minimization approach. This problem can be cast as a linear system of the form Ax = b, where A is an N × K measurement matrix with N much smaller than K. I'll explain when we can recover a good approximate solution to the noiseless linear system using noisy data.
