Generalized SRB Measures for Non-uniformly Hyperbolic Systems II
Speaker: Nawaf Alansari, Penn State
Abstract: This is a continuation of last week's talk. We will review Omri Sarig's construction of Markov Partitions, which was generalized by Ben Ovadia, for non-uniformly hyperbolic systems. We then use this construction to construct SRB measures and generalized SRB measures under various "leaf conditions". Along the way, we introduce the theory of thermodynamic formalism developed by Sarig for countable topological Markov shifts, which is going to be used to construct conformal measures on the "space of unstable manifolds" of our system.
