Cluster algebras and Nakajima's quiver varieties

Abstract: Nakajima's quiver varieties are smooth complex algebraic varieties associated with quivers. They are introduced in the study of representations of Kac-Moody Lie algebras. The categories of perverse sheaves on Nakajima's quiver varieties can be used to study various bases of cluster algebras. In this talk, I will talk about some recent progress on the geometry of Nakajima's quiver varieties and how it helps us to locate the supports of triangular basis of skew-symmetric rank 2 cluster algebras.
