Speaker: Dan Grady,
Abstract: The goal of this talk is to introduce a differential refinement of the (twisted) Atiyah-Hirzebruch spectral sequence and to apply the spectral sequence to (twisted) differential K-theory. I will begin with a review of differential cohomology and twisted differential cohomology, continue with the construction for a refinement of the spectral sequence, and end with an identification of some of the differentials in the case of twisted differential K-theory. Throughout the talk, I will highlight parallels with the corresponding topological constructions, considered by Atiyah and Hirzebruch (Segal in the twisted case), and explain the ways in which our construction generalizes these to the smooth setting.
