Foliated Groupoids and their infinitesimal data.

Abstract: A multiplicative foliation on a Lie group(oid) is an involutive subbundle of the tangent space, which is at the same time a subgroup(oid) of the tangent prolongation group(oid). Multiplicative foliations on Lie groups are easily described in terms of their fiber over the unit. In the groupoid case, the infinitesimal data of a multiplicative foliation is related to the Bott connection associated to the foliation and gives rise to the concept of an IM-foliation on a Lie algebroid. After some explanations of these notions and the necessary background, I will define the IM-foliations and state our main result.
